Our aim is to provide a welcoming, safe yet challenging approach to exercise. It is important to be prepared and understand what to expect from a Jen Benson Pilates session in order to maximise your experience. The following information gives you a pre-class guide
The session lasts for 1 hour.
Please arrive on time to set up in your place and be ready for the start time.
On your first visit you will be required to complete and sign a health questionnaire. It is extremely important that you complete this form as accurately and honestly as possible so as not to put yourself at any risk during exercise. Any issues arising will be discussed. Possible adaptations and modifications to the exercises can be arranged.
Wear comfortable clothing that you feel able to stretch in. No outdoor footwear on the mats. Pilates is usually practised barefoot. Some clients choose to wear socks. This is purely personal preference.
Please bring your own mat if possible. You may wish to consider purchasing your own mat if you are attending regular classes. Any other equipment needed during the session is provided.
Bring a bottle of water. Always keep yourself well hydrated both during and after exercise.
